Here, 93-year-old master craftsman Luciano Caglieri has been passionately working with gold leaf for over 60 years. His workshop, located in an old sacristy, is a place where time seems to stand still. With skilled hands and a devoted heart, Luciano transforms ingots into delicate golden layers through ten meticulous stages of craftsmanship. Visiting Trecentesco Fiorentino is like taking a step back in time, offering an authentic experience that celebrates Florentine art and tradition.
Trecentesco Fiorentino welcomes its guests from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM. On Saturdays, it is open from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM. It is closed on Sundays, but during Easter and other holidays, Trecentesco Fiorentino is pleased to open its doors.
